Valparaiso University defensive lineman Adam Rundh (Aalborg, Denmark/Orjanskolan H.S. [Sweden]) has been named an ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-District V First Team selection for the third straight season.

Rundh has made 21 tackles, including four for loss this season, in just five games while battling injury.  The senior has 1.5 quarterback sacks and two other hurries to his credit on the year.

For his career, Rundh has 109 total tackles, 30 for loss, and 12 sacks.  He has blocked three kicks, forced a fumble, and recovered another.

In the classroom, Rundh carries a 3.94 cumulative grade point average as an international business and finance double major.  He is a two-time First Team Academic All-PFL selection as well as being named to the league’s Fall Academic Honor Roll each of his first three seasons with the program.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America, student-athletes must hold at least sophomore status, own a minimum grade-point average of 3.20, and be either a starter or key reserve.  District V consists of schools in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ontario, and Manitoba.
