Three tournaments
along with a home dual match face the Valparaiso University
women’s tennis team this fall as head coach Traci Young announced the slate on Wednesday afternoon.
The Crusaders will
open the fall season at home on September 9 as Goshen College
visits the Valpo Tennis Complex. One
week later, the Brown and Gold will head to River Forest, Ill.
for the first of three fall tournaments.
During Homecoming
weekend, Valpo will host an exhibition Alumni Tournament which will take place
on September 25.
Valpo will then
close out the fall tournament schedule with back-to-back tournament weekends. October 1-2 the Crusaders will head to Fort Wayne, Ind. for the Mastodon
Invitational before heading to Western Illinois
one week later for the Kellogg-Hinds Tournament.
The Crusaders wrap up the fall slate on October 16 with a dual match at Robert Morris (Ill.).
Young returns six
players from last year’s squad and has added a pair of freshmen for the
upcoming fall season.
