After one year off,
the Valparaiso University men’s tennis team will again
host the Valparaiso Fall Invitational this October as head coach Jim Daugherty released the Crusaders’
fall schedule on Wednesday.
The Crusaders will
host the event on October 1-2 at the Valpo Tennis Complex as the second of the
Crusaders’ team tournaments this fall.
The schedule opens September 17-19 in West Lafayette, Ind.
as Valpo takes part in the Purdue Invitational.
During Homecoming
weekend the Brown and Gold will again host its annual exhibition Alumni
Tournament at the Valpo Tennis Complex on September 25.
Valpo will head to East Lansing, Mich. for
the Michigan State Invitational October 8-10 before wrapping up the fall slate
October 21-24 at the ITA Regional Tournament in Notre Dame, Ind.
Daugherty’s squad
will return seven players from last year’s squad and will also gain the
services of a transfer and a freshman this fall.
