Bob Brooks is the Director of Strength and Conditioning for Valpo athletics after beginning his work at Valpo in 1994 as a part-time consultant for the men's and women's basketball teams.

Brooks has worked in various gyms throughout his career training individuals.  He hsa worked with former world boxing champion Angel Manfredy, several Major League Baseball players, world champion bodybuilders, and over 40 basketball players that have gone on to play professionally either in the National Basketball Association or overseas.

A well-decorated bodybuilder, Brooks was the Indiana State Powerlifting Champion from 1991-93, 1993 Mr. Illinois Bodybuilding champion and 1993 Mr. Midwest Bodybuilding champion. In 1996, Brooks again was honored, this time as the Mr. Tri-State Bodybuilding champion.

He is a certified sports performance coach by the United States Weightlifting Association and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Bob and his wife Katrice currently live in Valparaiso.
