Valparaiso University will have to wait another day to open their new softball field as the Crusaders doubleheader scheduled for Friday against Southern Utah has been postponed due to rain. Valparaiso University Softball Field will now be dedicated at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The Crusaders and Thunderbirds will then play their regularly scheduled doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon and will make up Friday's games on Sunday. Sunday's game times will be announced on Saturday.
