The Crusaders host a holiday clinic on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at the Athletics-Recreation Center for youths from 8th-12th grades. On Sunday, Jan. 29, Valpo will host hitting and pitching clinics for youths ages 8-18. Then Sunday, Feb. 19 marks the end of the winter camp season when high school students are invited to experience the Valparaiso Crusader all-skills clinic.
Two separate programs will be run on Dec. 18. A pitching clinic will be held from 11 a.m.-noon, which costs $30 if registered by Dec. 15 and $40 thereafter. The Crusaders will also be holding an all-skills clinic from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., which costs $45 if registered by Dec. 15 and $55 thereafter.
The clinics on Jan. 29 will be split into beginner and advanced clinics, with the beginner clinics for youths ages 8-12 and the advanced clinics for youths ages 13-18. The beginner hitting and advanced pitching clinics will run from 10 a.m.-noon, with the advanced hitting and beginner pitching clinics slated for 1 p.m.-3 p.m. All of the clinics on Jan. 29 cost $65 if registered by Jan. 12 and $75 thereafter.
Feb. 19 marks the close of the winter camp season when high school students are welcome to experience the Valparaiso Crusader advanced clinic, featuring three hours of non-stop softball just like the players do to prepare for game time. It will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and costs $65 if registered by Feb. 1 and $75 thereafter.
