Valparaiso's softball team won one of three games on Saturday at the Southeast Missouri State Classic in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

In the opener, Valpo rallied for a 6-5 win over Southeast Missouri State with a run in the seventh. Brittany Atteberry recorded her first win of the season in relief.

In game two, Ashlee Blankenbaker went the distance, striking out 15 and allowing just a lone run which was unearned, but the Crusaders fell 1-0 to Indiana State in eight innings.

In the finale, Bradley defeated Valpo 2-1. Karen Constien homered in the seventh for the Brown and Gold, but it was not enough.

The Crusaders will conclude tournament play on Sunday against Iowa State and Southwest Missouri State.
