Valparaiso University Head Softball Coach Randy Schneider today announced the Crusaders will be hosting a Softball Coaching Clinic for parents, coaches or fans interested in learning the sport of softball, April 23 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

Schneider will be joined by Crusader Pitching Coach Gene Bruhn, Centenary College Head Coach Mark Montgomery and Brent Matthias, Head Coach of the U.S.A. Coast-to-Coast All-Star Team during their Puerto Rico Tour.

Registration for the clinic will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the ARC at a cost of $25 per person. All attendees will receive an informational packet, complimentary snacks, and instruction from four proven, experienced softball minds.

Schneider and the Crusaders (16-21) will take on Montgomery and the Ladies this weekend at the Valparaiso University Softball Field, beginning with a doubleheader Friday at 2:00 p.m. Their series concludes Saturday with two more games starting at 12:00 p.m.
