Valparaiso softball head coach Randy Schneider announced today his squad’s schedule for the fall 2009 season, featuring three home doubleheaders at the Valparaiso University Softball Field.

The Crusaders will kick off the fall campaign on Saturday, Sept. 12 with a home doubleheader at noon against Ancilla College.  Sunday, Sept. 20 brings St. Joseph’s (Ind.) to the Valpo campus for a twinbill starting at noon, while the Crusaders take on Bethel in a home doubleheader at noon on Saturday, Sept. 26.  All home games during the fall season are open to the public free of charge.

The Brown and Gold close the 2009 fall season on Sunday, Oct. 4 by traveling to Notre Dame.  Valpo will take on Western Michigan at 10 a.m. CDT that day before facing the host Irish at 2 p.m. CDT.
