Steady overnight rains that are expected to continue throughout Sunday have forced the cancellation of the Valparaiso softball team’s series finale today against Green Bay.

The game will not be made up.  Valpo returns to the field on Wednesday afternoon when it steps out of league play to take on Northern Illinois in a doubleheader at the Valparaiso University Softball Field.  First pitch of game one is slated for 3 p.m. and both games can be heard live on WVUR, 95.1 FM, Valparaiso.  The audio will also be webcast online at www.valpoathletics.com, which will also have links for live stats.
