Amanda Eberhart has announced that she has stepped down as the head coach of the Valparaiso University softball program to accept a position as the associate head coach at the University of Notre Dame. 

Valpo will conduct a national search for the program’s next head coach.

“I would like to thank Coach Eberhart for her time leading our softball program,” Director of Athletics Charles Small said. “We wish her all the best in her new position. We are excited about the bright future of our softball program and will immediately begin the process of identifying the best fit to lead our student-athletes in their development. We are proud of the accomplishments of our softball student-athletes this past season and we are committed to making a concerted effort to the continued forward progress of the program.”
