2009: Appeared in 42 games for the Crusaders as a sophomore, including 38 starts, 35 of which came at first base … finished tied for fourth in the Horizon League with 11 doubles, tied for eighth-most in a single season in Valpo history … also moved into Crusader single-season top-10s in slugging pct. (.505, 10th) and home runs (4, t-10th) … second on the team and 13th in the league with a .362 batting average in league-only play … tallied seven doubles in league play, good for third in the league … posted nine multi-hit games on the year … scored two runs on six different occasions … came up with game-tying 3-run homer in seventh inning of eventual victory over Detroit March 21 … drove in two runs and picked up a pair of doubles March 25 at Northern Illinois … handled 20 chances in the field without an error, including an HL season single-game high 17 putouts, in 15-inning win at Loyola April 4 … went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, two RBIs, two doubles and a homer over two games April 11 at Youngstown State … also tallied two doubles April 18 at Green Bay and May 2 against Cleveland State … played over the summer for Indiana Slammers squad that won the USSSA 18-and-over World Series national championship … named the Most Valuable Player and earned All-Tournament Team honors at World Series.
2008: Made 30 appearances for Valpo as a freshman, including 22 starts ... split time throughout the year at the hot corner ... went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs March 3 against Fairfield ... hit first career home run at IPFW on April 9 ... round-tripper in nightcap against Mastodons was a three-run shot after an 11-pitch at bat ... drove in key insurance run with a seventh-inning double at UIC on April 11 ... came in as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning in opener at Cleveland State May 4 and delivered RBI single to plate game-winning run ... win moved Crusaders within one game of Horizon League regular season championship.
Prep: A three-year letterwinner for the Panthers ... received Third Team All-State recognition from the Chicago Tribune and the Illinois Coaches Association as a senior ... played for regional championship team as a sophomore ... earned Honorable Mention mention from the Illinois Times in 2005 ... registered 92 assists from third base as a sophomore, just three shy of school record ... also earned one letter in golf ... an Illinois State Scholar ... received Jan Smith Female Athlete of the Year award from Washington in 2007 ... a member of National Honor Society.
