The Valparaiso University volleyball team will take on IUPUI Friday evening in the Mid-Continent Conference semifinals.

The Crusaders (20-9, 9-3 Mid-Con) are the tournament's second seed and will battle the third-seeded Jaguars (12-18, 9-3) at 5 p.m. in Tulsa, Okla.

Valpo and IUPUI split their regular season meetings, with the home team winning each match. Valpo was a 3-2 winner on Sept. 28, while IUPUI registered a 3-0 victory on Nov. 9.

Oral Roberts, the tournament hosts and top seed, will face UMKC in the other semifinal beginning at 7:30 p.m. The winners will meet for the Mid-Con's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
