Lauren Moulton (Elgin, Ill./Larkin H.S.) has been named Mid-Continent Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading Valparaiso to the Popcorn Classic title.

Moulton was consistently strong for the Brown and Gold throughout the three matches of the tournament. Against St. Louis, she hit at a .500 clip with a team-high nine kills while adding five blocks. She followed up that effort with 17 kills and four blocks versus Drake. Moulton ended the tournament strong, hitting .412 with 18 kills in the Crusaders' win over Eastern Michigan. Moulton was honored as co-MVP of the Popcorn Classic for her efforts.

This marks the fourth time Moulton has received Player of the Week accolades from the Mid-Con during her career. In addition, Moulton is the fourth different Crusader to be honored this season by the Mid-Con.
