Valparaiso University volleyball coach Becky Madden has announced her 2002 volleyball schedule.

The Crusaders will open their 29-match season on Sept. 6-7 at the Marquette Tournament, the first of three tournaments that the brown and gold will participate in during the season. The following weekend Valpo will travel to Georgetown for a tournament before hosting their annual classic.

This year, the brown and gold will hold the Valparaiso Classic Tournament on Sept. 20-21, featuring Northeastern, Jacksonville, and Fairfield.

The Crusaders will open their home slate on Sept. 10 against Notre Dame, while Mid-Continent Conference play opens on Sept. 28 at home against IUPUI.

Valpo will conclude its home schedule on Nov. 2 against Oral Roberts before wrapping-up the season with four straight road matches. The Mid-Con Tournament will be held on Nov. 22-23 in Tulsa, Okla., with Oral Roberts serving as the host institution.
