Valparaiso senior middle hitter Allison Sears (Elkhart, Ind./Memorial) was named to the Horizon League Championships All-Tournament Team for her stellar performances in the Crusaders’ two contests at the tournament.

Sears led all players in the Crusaders’ quarterfinal victory over Green Bay on Friday afternoon, registering 17 kills over the four sets.  The senior also hit at a .297 clip and tallied three service aces.  Against Cleveland State in the semifinals on Saturday, she tied for match-high honors with 16 kills on .344 hitting while also recording six total blocks.
