Kulaga and Comans Contribute at European Championships

Valparaiso University's Agnieszka Kulaga (Tarnow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace H.S.) and Evva Comans (Zonhoven, Belgium/Kindsheid Jesu Hasselt H.S.) each represented their home nation in the A Division of the U-20 European Championships which just completed in Sopron, Hungary.

Kulaga finished third in scoring for Poland averaging 10.9 points per game in eight contests. The 5'6" guard also averaged 3.6 rebounds per game and shot 43.8% from three-point range for the tournament. The Valpo sophomore-to-be scored 21 points in a victory over Turkey on July 9.

Comans helped lead Belgium to a fifth place finish overall, averaging 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest in seven games. She shot 47.1% from the floor for the championships. The 6'4" redshirt-sophomore scored ten points against Bulgaria and grabbed five rebounds against Latvia.
