Valparaiso University forward Meredith Baugher (Berea, Ohio/Berea H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week.

The sophomore averaged a double-double, 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds, as the Crusaders won a pair of Mid-Continent Conference games.

In a 66-50 win over Chicago State on Saturday, Baugher tallied her first collegiate double-double with career highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds. On Monday in a 89-53 win over Southern Utah, she scored 11 points and added eight boards in just 13 minutes of work.

For the week, Baugher shot 55% from the floor (11-of-20) and 88% (7-of-8) from the free throw line.
