Valparaiso University will kickoff the 2005-2006 basketball season on Friday, October 14 with Valpo Basketball Madness presented by Cardinal Bus at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

The doors will open at 8:30 p.m. with kids shooting contests against the Crusader men's and women's basketball teams taking place in Hilltop Gym and Gym II from 9-9:30. The main event will begin at 9:30 p.m. in the arena and consist of the introductions of both the men's and women's teams, contests, performances by the Cheerleaders and Crusaderettes, a laser light show, and scrimmages by both teams. The night will conclude with an autograph session at approximately 11 p.m.

Valpo Basketball Madness presented by Cardinal Bus is open to the public free of charge.
