Valparaiso University's Evva Comans (Zonhoven, Belgium/Kindsheid Jesu Hasselt H.S.) has been named to the Belgian pre-selection team for this summer's U21 World Championships to be held in Moscow, Russia.

Comans, a redshirt-sophomore for the Crusaders, was one of 16 individuals named to the pool for selection to participate this summer. A final decision on the team's roster will occur in May. Last summer, she participated with the team in the European Championships, where Belgium finished fourth in the A Division.

Belgium has qualified for the World Championships for the first time ever, with competition beginning on June 29 against Mali.

Comans has appeared in 17 games for Valpo this season, averaging 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game while shooting 47.4% from the floor.
