Comans Granted Release from Women's Hoops Program

Valparaiso University has announced that Evva Comans (Zonhoven, Belgium/Kindsheid Jesu Hasselt H.S.) has asked for and been granted a release from her commitment to the women's basketball program to allow her to transfer.

Comans, a 6'4" center, saw action in 21 games for the Crusaders during the 2006-2007 season. She averaged 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game for the Brown and Gold while shooting 45.0% from the floor.

A redshirt-sophomore this past season, Comans appeared in 35 games during her career for Valpo.
