Valpo Women's Basketball Program to Host 15th Annual Fall Coaches Clinic

The Valparaiso University women’s basketball program will host its 15th annual Fall Coaches’ Clinic on September 25-26 at the Athletics-Recreation Center.  The event will feature three collegiate coaches as well as the Crusader women’s coaching staff.

Northern State University men’s head coach Don Meyer, who is the winningest NCAA coach in history with 910 victories, will give presentations on “Game Preparation, Pregame, Halftime, and Postgame” as well as “Elephants Don’t Bite-Little Things That Beat You” and “The Things I Have Learned Over the Last Year.” 

Vance Walberg, the assistant men’s coach at the University of Massachusetts, will add presentations on “Pressure Defense” and Dribble Attack Motion.”  Kathi Bennett, an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin, will conduct a presentation on “Pack Defense”, while the Valpo coaching staff will talk about “Individual Skill Development.”
