at Valparaiso (1-6, 0-0 Horizon)

Game #8 - Wednesday, December 9 - 7:00 p.m. CT
Athletics-Recreation Center (5,000) - Valparaiso, Ind.

Next Up in Crusader Basketball: Valpo’s five-game homestand continues Wednesday night at the ARC as Akron comes to town for a mid-week tilt. The Zips are led by senior guard Anita Brown, who is averaging 20 points and seven rebounds per game. Dani Franklin was 7-of-15 from the field in last year’s meeting at James A. Rhodes Arena as her 16 points led the Brown and Gold off the bench.

Last Time Out: A near perfect second half from redshirt junior Haylee Thompson lifted the Crusaders to a 63-62 victory over nationally-ranked NAIA Division II foe Cardinal Stritch Monday night at the Athletics-Recreation Center. The Wolves reinforced why they’re No. 7 in their league by coming back from double-digit deficits twice, including a 13-point margin in the fourth quarter. Thompson finished with a career-high 16 points while senior Lexi Miller added 11 second-half points.
