The Missouri Valley Conference has postponed the Valpo-Illinois State women’s basketball series (Jan. 1-2) due to positive COVID-19 test results among Valpo’s Tier I personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff. The series will be made up Jan. 14-15 at Illinois State, while the Missouri State series at the ARC - previously scheduled for Jan. 15-16 - will be played on dates to be determined and which will be announced by the MVC at a later date.

Valpo is now scheduled to open MVC play on Jan. 7-8 versus UNI at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

The health and safety of everyone involved remains paramount, and Valpo Athletics will continue to follow national, state, local and University COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.
