Meredith Baugher

POSITION Graduate Assistant

After four seasons as a member of the Valparaiso University women’s basketball team as a player, Meredith Baugher moves to the sidelines for the 2005-2006 campaign.  Serving as the team’s graduate assistant, she is responsible for film exchange, producing publications for coaches and alumni, and assisting the recruiting coordinator.

While wearing the Brown and Gold, Baugher helped lead the Crusaders to two NCAA Tournament appearances, a quarterfinal trip to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, a Mid-Continent Conference regular season title, and two Mid-Con Tournament crowns.

She earned Honorable Mention All Mid-Con accolades as a sophomore, then battled a foot injury during her junior campaign.  Baugher also excelled in the classroom earning Mid-Con All-Academic Team honors three seasons.

Baugher earned her bachelor’s degree from Valpo in public relations and French and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sports administration at the university.
