Crusaders Rise to 11th in Latest NTCA Poll

The Valparaiso bowling squad continued its ascension up the national rankings in its inaugural season of competition, checking in at #11 in the most recent rankings as released today by the National Tenpin Coaches Association.

The Crusaders, who began their first season ranked 20th nationally and who came in at 12th in the December poll, tallied 167 points this go-round for their 11th-place showing. Since the last polling, Valpo has competed in just one tournament, going 8-5 en route to a sixth-place finish two weekends ago at Arkansas State’s Mid-Winter Classic.

Valparaiso returns to the lanes this weekend at the Kutztown Invitational, kicking off three days of action on Friday at 11 a.m. CST.
