Valparaiso University freshman Laura Rolf (Rochester, Mich./Lutheran Northwest H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Stanford Invitational.

Rolf led the Crusaders to a fourth place finish in the 17-team field on Saturday. She finished 12th overall with a time of 14:51 over the four-kilometer course.
