2016 (Cross Country): One of the top runners for Valpo all season…finished first for the team at the Horizon League Championships (23:08.7) and at the NCAA Regional meet (22:52.8).

2016 (Track): Top indoor distance runner in three events for the Crusaders…2:13.03 in the 800m run, which places second all-time for Valpo…4:59.98 in the mile, just missed surpassing her fourth-place all-time mark of 4:57.10…10:29.38 in the 3,000m race…an outdoor top-distance performer in three events…2:17.83 in the 800m…4:33.41 in the 1,500m, second-fastest time in school history…11:23.72 in the 3,000m steeplechase.

2015 (Track): Top indoor performer in two events for Valpo…top spot in the mile (5:00.27)…3,000m race (10:20.79)…competed in the 800m event, where she finished the season with a best of 2:33.68…had a successful outdoor campaign, led the Crusaders in all three of her events…2:16.44 in the 800m run…4:34.16 in the 1,500m race…11:03.56 in the 3,000m steeplechase.

2015 (Cross Country): Earned All-Horizon League honors for a second straight season, receiving Second Team All-League recognition after a 14th-place finish at the Horizon League Championship ... led the Crusader contingent in all six meets as a junior ... opened season with 12th-place finish at Crusader Open, covering 5K course in 19:33 ... ran fastest 5K of the season at Notre Dame, crossing the line in 19:10.6 ... posted season-best 6K time of 22:14.3 at Bradley ... member of Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

2014 (Cross Country): Ran in all six races for Valpo in her sophomore season...earned First Team All-League honors alongside teammate Jessica Richardson...notched a top-10 finish in the Crusader Open 4K with a time of 13:54.8, good for 8th place overall...covered the Western Invitaitonal 5K course in 19:21, second-fastest on the team...recorded an 18:18.7 result at the Notre Dame Invitational 5K...ran a 22:25.3 6K at the Bradley Invite...cracked the top-5 at the HL Championships 6K en route to the aforementioned All-League honors following her 21:57 time...closed out the season with a 22:24 result at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional 6K.

2013 (Cross Country): Competed in four meets for the Crusaders as a freshman...Newcomer of the year for the Crusaders...clocked a 18:58.2 to finish in 8th place at the Crusader Classic...finished in 45th place at the Iona Meet of Champions, crossing the line at 24:06.06...ran a 26:06.26 at the HL Championships...finished in 23:59 at NCAA Great Lakes Regional.

Prep: Four-time first-team all-conference winner for the Irish...third place at 2012 state championships...2012 conference and sectional championship...holds 4K and 1600m record for her school...also lettered in basketball and track...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Susan and Joel Powers...major is theology and ministry ... married former Crusader track and field athlete Elijah Owen in the summer of 2016.
