Valparaiso University head women’s golf coach Mike Higdon has announced the five events in which the Crusaders’ women’s golf team will compete at during the spring portion of the 2010-2011 season.

The Crusaders will open the spring Feb. 28 and March 1 in Kentucky at the Murray State Spring Invitational, a new event to the schedule from one year ago.  After a month off, Valpo will return to the links March 28-29 at the Butler Spring Invitational, the first of three repeat events from the Crusaders’ inaugural campaign.  The Brown and Gold will also head to the Loyola Invitational (April 11-12) in the Chicago area as well as the Falcon Invitational (April 16-17) in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Valpo and the rest of the conference will then head to Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. April 22-24 for the 2011 Horizon League Championships to be held at Mission Inn Resort.
