Valparaiso University coach Mat Blair has announced that Sibil Gill has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Crusaders’ women’s golf program beginning in the fall of 2012.

“Sibil is a nice addition to the Valpo family,” Blair said.  “She brings a great golf talent to the program and will make an immediate impact for us.  She’s also a great student and will fit in nicely here at Valpo.”

Gill, a native of Kokomo, Ind., was an individual state finalist at Western High School as a junior.  She was a two-time All Mid-Indiana Conference selection and also earned Student-Athlete of the Week honors from WIOU.  For her efforts in the classroom, Gill has been named to the Academic All-State Team.
