Valparaiso University head women's soccer coach Stephen Anthony has announced that three players have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Crusaders this fall. Joining the Brown and Gold are Kendall Brown, Dana McGlone, and Reva Van Aartsen.

Brown is a 5'8" forward from Lake Zurich, Ill. A two-time All-East Suburban Catholic Conference selection for Carmel High School, she is the school's all-time career scoring leader. She has played her club soccer for F.C. United.

?Kendall's decision to attend Valpo is tremendous as she will add a strong, athletic, goal-scoring threat to our line-up," said Anthony. ?Kendall will complement the front runners we have already signed and will give us much needed speed and athleticism up front."

McGlone is a 5'7" midfielder from Littleton, Colo. She played high school soccer at Heritage High School where she led her squad to the state semifinals. McGlone has played club soccer for Colorado Girls Soccer Academy.

?I am excited about Dana's commitment to Valpo because of her experience and aggressive style of play, commented Anthony. ?She will be a strong addition to our midfield and will provide a solid defensive presence with the ability to get forward in our attack."

Van Aartsen is a 5'3" midfielder from Brookfield, Wis. An All-Greater Metro Conference selection from Brookfield East High School, she has also played club soccer for the Brookfield Soccer Association.

?Reva will provide immediate depth to our midfield and will certainly compete for playing time this fall," Anthony said. ?Her skills and abilities will enable us to play through her and posses the ball in the midfield. Her style of play should fit in well with the direction our program has taken over the past few seasons."

Brown, McGlone, and Van Aartsen, join Jamie Christ, Lori Johnson, Laura Murphy, and Jackie Thomas who signed with the Crusaders back in February.
