The Valparaiso women’s soccer team continues to reach new heights in 2014, as it was announced today that the Crusaders had cracked the NSCAA Great Lakes Region poll for the first time in program history.

The Crusaders came in at #10 in the most recent regional poll, released on Tuesday morning.  Seven of the squads ahead of Valpo are out of the Big Ten, while one MAC school and one Missouri Valley squad join the Crusaders in the top-ten.

The first regional ranking in program history comes as Valpo continues on a ten-match unbeaten streak, the longest stretch of matches without a loss in program history.  The Crusaders look to stay perfect in Horizon League play on Wednesday evening at UIC.
