Fan Information for 2022 MVC Women’s Soccer Championship

The Valpo soccer program will host the final two rounds of the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Championship at Brown Field on Thursday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 6. In addition, Valparaiso University will hold a pep rally Wednesday morning, Nov. 2 to celebrate the soccer program’s success so far this season and build the excitement heading into the tournament.

How We Got Here

Valpo won the MVC regular season title and earned hosting rights for the MVC Tournament by completing the regular season with a 4-0 win over Indiana State to finish the conference schedule with a 7-1-2 record. The championship is Valpo’s first team title since joining the Valley.

Game Schedule (All games at Brown Field)

Thursday, Nov. 3: Semifinals

UNI vs. Missouri State - 3 p.m.

Murray State vs. Valpo - 6 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 6: Championship match - 1 p.m.

Ticket Information

Tickets are $10 apiece. MVC students and children 10 and under are $5 apiece. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.

The first 200 tickets for Valpo students for Thursday’s semifinal round will be provided free of charge, paid for by Valpo Student Life.

Parking Information

Fans are encouraged to park in the following lots:

Lots 32, 34 and 35 - all located north of Brown Field, off of LaPorte Ave.

Lot 39 - west of Brown Field, off of Monroe St.

Lot 43 - south of Brown Field, just south of Chapel Drive

There is no charge for parking. ADA parking will be available in lot 45, adjacent to the Athletics-Recreation Center.

Entering Brown Field

All spectators will enter Brown Field at the southwest corner of the facility. Please note that this is different from the entrance utilized during the regular season (southeast corner).

How to Watch

All three matches from Brown Field will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Valpo Pep Rally

There will be a pep rally in the main lobby of the Harre Union at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, Nov. 2 to celebrate the soccer program’s regular season title and build the excitement to back the Beacons as they go after the tournament championship this week. Students, faculty, staff and community members are all invited to attend and help create a buzz heading into the tournament. Speaking at the pep rally are University President José D. Padilla, J.D., Director of Athletics Charles Small, Ed.D., head coach John Marovich and junior goalkeeper Nikki Coryell.
