Eve Miller Joins Valpo Soccer Program

A four-year letterwinner, Miller was a four-time All-Region honoree with the Rockets. After earning her team’s Rookie of the Year award in 2019, she was named team Offensive Player of the Year in 2020 and received the team’s HART Dedication Award in 2021. A four-year member of the honor roll, Miller plays her club soccer for Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC ECNL.

Miller on why she chose Valpo: “I chose Valparaiso University because it has one of the best meteorology programs in the country, which gives me the best opportunity to be successful. Valpo also has a very strong soccer program, and play a similar style to my current club team. I know everyone will push me to work my hardest, but also will bring out the best soccer player I can be.”

Marovich on Miller: “Eve is a versatile defender that has good pace. She can play as a centerback, she could be an outside back and she connects passes well with others. She can also contribute in the attack and we're excited to have her joining us!”

The addition of Miller makes it 10 newcomers joining the defending MVC regular season champions next season — nine freshmen and one transfer.
