Valpo Swim Teams Earn Academic All-America Honors
Tuesday, July 11, 2006 The College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has awarded Academic All-America honors to both the Crusader men's swimming and diving team and the Crusader women's swimming and diving team for the spring semester.The Valpo men's team tied for 13th nationally in the rankings released by the CSCAA, as head coach Bryan Morrison's squad recorded a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 for the spring semester. The women's team also qualified for All-America accolades, tying for 29th, having registered a team GPA of 3.34 for the spring semester. To qualify for the team Academic All-America award, squads must have recorded a cumulative GPA of 2.80 for the spring semester. |
