Rich Lowe

2003-04 Women's Swimming & Diving Coaches

Rich Lowe joined the Valparaiso University swimming and diving staff prior to the 2003-2004 season and serves as the Crusaders’ diving coach.

During the 2006-2007 season, Lowe had three divers move onto Valpo’s top-10 performances list all-time for the Crusaders.

Before arriving at Valpo, Lowe was the head boys and girls swimming and diving coach at Wheeler High School from 1999-2001 and the head girls coach at Portage from 2002-2003.  Prior to his head coaching stints, he served as an assistant coach at Portage for 14 years.

A four-year letterwinner at Western Kentucky University, he helped lead the Hilltoppers to four Midwest Conference titles.  As a senior, Western Kentucky was ranked as high as 25th in the nation.  He earned the team’s Mental Attitude Award as a freshman.

Lowe earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Western Kentucky in 1991 majoring in history.
