Prep: A member of the Wolves school record-holding 200 medley relay as a freshman ... a member of the school record 200 and 400 relays as a sophomore ... a four-year letterwinner for Niles West ... served as team captain senior year ... recipient of the Central Suburban League Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior.

Personal: Heather is the daughter of Cliff and Lori Benson ... major is meteorology ... born March 22, 1986.
