2008-2009: Posted season’s best times of 1:00.56 in the 100 freestyle and 2:12.79 in the 200 free at the Horizon League Championships ... had a best time of 5:51.81 at the conference meet as well ... also competed in the 50 free as a rookie.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Kougars ... a member of the school’s record-setting 200 freestyle relay ... team’s Most Improved Swimmer as a sophomore ... also lettered in soccer and track and field.

Personal:  Alecia is the daughter of Steve and Phyllis Penninga ... majors are political science and communications law ... born March 28, 1990.
