2011-2012: Competed in freestyle, butterfly and backstroke during freshman campaign ... turned in the sixth fastest 100 back time (1:01.32) in program history at the Horizon League Championships ... produced season's fastest 50 (25.13) and 100 (55.44) free times ... posted season's second fastest 100 fly time (1:00.87)  ... helped turn in the fifth fastest 400 medley relay (4:04.33) in Valpo women's swimming history with Natalie Jarrett, Ali Taubert and Flavia Segatto.

Prep: Sectional and State team qualifier for Vikings … named Academic All-Western Sun Conference four consecutive years … awarded 2011-2012 Illinois State Scholar.

Personal: Lauren is the daughter of David and Martha Knop … major is mathematics … born Aug. 11, 1993.
