Valparaiso University's women's tennis will serve as the top seed for the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament this week and face Centenary on Thursday morning in the semifinals.

The Crusaders, the Mid-Con regular season champions with a perfect 8-0 record in league play, will battle the fourth-seeded Ladies of Centenary at 10:30 a.m. at the Indianapolis Tennis Center on the campus of IUPUI. Centenary enters the tournament with a 10-15 record overall and 5-3 in Mid-Con action.

The other semifinal, also taking place at 10:30 a.m. will pit #2 IUPUI (14-5, 7-1 Mid-Con) against Southern Utah (10-8, 6-2), the third seed. The championship match is set for Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Valpo, 12-5 overall, enters the tournament with an eight-match winning streak and has won 11 of their last 12 overall. The Crusaders defeated Centenary 5-1 back on April 11 during regular season play.
