Michelle Mahoney

Head Coach

Michelle Mahoney was named the Valparaiso University head women’s tennis coach on December 6, 2006.

During her first season at the helm of the Brown and Gold, Mahoney led the Crusaders to an 11-10 mark overall and a third place finish in the Mid-Continent Conference.  Three of her athletes earned All Mid-Continent Conference honors.

Mahoney played collegiately at Siena College, where she was a four-year letterwinner for the Saints. She was a team captain from 1993-1995 and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1994. She finished her career playing both #1 singles and doubles for Siena.

Mahoney also spent time at Siena helping teach at the Saints’ summer camps. In addition, she trained at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy during high school.
