Anne Brandt joined the Crusader women’s tennis staff as an assistant coach in March, 2009, helping with all aspects of Valparaiso University’s program.

Brandt joined the Valpo staff bringing with her a great deal of playing experience.  She has been a USTA league player and team captain since 1992, and was the USTA Northern California Player of the Year in 1996 at the 4.5 level.  She won the Northern California Grand Prix Tournament for both 4.5 women doubles and 4.5 mixed doubles, and has had a Northern California computer ranking of 5.0.

Since moving to Valparaiso in 2008, Brandt has been a tennis instructor in the Northwest Indiana area.

Brandt went to San Diego State University for two seasons on a softball scholarship before transferring to San Jose State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1992.
