Valparaiso University's Holly Hagen (Hobart, Ind./Hobart H.S.) finished in 17th place in the hammer throw at the Drake Relays on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Hagen turned in a toss of 166'1", less than seven feet shy of her own school record in the event. She was the only Crusader to compete at the meet, as the rest of the team competed at the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.
