Meyer Earns Postgraduate Scholarship from the NCAA

Valparaiso University multi-sport athlete Amanda Meyer (Somerset, Wis./Somerset H.S.) has been named the recipient of the Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics by the NCAA.

Meyer, who will receive her bachelor's degree in business management and sports management from Valpo in May, is a member of the Crusaders' soccer team along with the track and field squad.

On the soccer field, Meyer has tallied four goals and dished out two assists over the past two seasons. In track and field, she has set school records in the 600m run and the 4x400m relay indoors and holds school marks in the pole vault and the 4x400m relays outdoors.

Meyer has earned Presidential Academic Honors in the classroom while at Valpo and has served as the Vice President of Phi Epsilon Kappa, a physical education honor society. She has also earned Academic All-District honors by CoSIDA.

Meyer plans on pursuing her master's degree in business administration at Valparaiso beginning in the fall.
