Junior Nicole Zehel (Wixom, Mich./Lutheran Westland) has been named Horizon League Female Runner of the Week for her performance at the Gene and Rose Edmonds Invitational on Saturday.

Zehel was one of five Crusaders to garner first-place finishes at the Edmonds Invitational, but she was the only one to do so on the track. Her time of 4:57.94 was tops in the 1500-meter run.

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, Mar. 30 when they compete in the PR Invitational in Rensselaer, Ind.
