The Crusader women accumulated 18 points on the first of two days of competition, good for fourth place.  Milwaukee leads the team standings with 58 points.

Rolf earned the event victory in the 5,000m run Saturday with a school-record effort of 16:53.16, surpassing former All-American Collette Liss’ previous mark by four seconds.  The senior defeated Loyola’s Colleen Donovan by better than six seconds to earn ten points for the Crusaders.

Body surpassed her own school record in the qualifying round of the 60m dash, crossing the line in 7.82 seconds, .08 better than her previous mark.  The senior was the second-fastest qualifier for Sunday’s final in the event.  Body also qualified for Sunday’s event final in the 200m dash, going third-fastest with a time of 25.99 seconds, and posted a third-place finish in the long jump, leaping a season-best 17’10 ¾”.
