Valpo: All Mid-Continent Conference selection outdoors as a sophomore and junior ... sophomore javelin champion setting  school record (140'5") ... qualified for NCAA regionals as a sophomore ... recorded the third best heptathlon mark ever at Valpo in 2003 (3,784 pts.) ... twice named to the Mid-Con All-Academic Team.

Personal: Jessica is the daughter of Dan and C. Ann Maciak ... major is physical education ... born June 2, 1982.
