2009 (Track and Field): Did not compete for the Crusaders during track and field season last year ... earned a spot on the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll both semesters.

2008 (Cross Country): Placed among Valpo’s top-four runners in all six races on the season, despite never having run cross country at any level prior ... was the second Crusader to cross the line at the season-opening Crusader Open, finishing 21st overall with a time of 19:36 ... broke the 20-minute barrier twice more on the season (Notre Dame Invitational, Evansville Invitational) ... ran a season-best 5K time of 19:10.04 at Evansville ... was the fourth-fastest Valpo runner at both the Horizon League Championships and the NCAA Great Lakes Regional ... named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V women’s track and field/cross country First Team ... a member of the Horizon League Academic All-League team ... earned Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recognition for both the fall and spring semesters ... previously played volleyball during sophomore season, appearing in six matches for the Crusaders ... also has been part of the track and field squad in her first two years at Valpo ... an All Mid-Continent Conference honoree indoors as a freshman as part of distance medley relay team ... was a member of the Mid-Con All-Academic Team.

Prep: Earned four letters in track and field for the Knights ... a four-time First Team All-Conference honoree ... twice earned All-State honors ... member of school record-setting 4x800m relay squad ... a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Lindsey is the daughter of Doug and Gayle Gilman ... major is chemistry, with minors in physics and mathematics ... has earned a spot on the Dean’s List and received Presidential academic honors during her time at Valpo ... received Top Student award for U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored Nuclear and Radiochemistry summer school during summer of 2009 ... born April 21, 1988.
