2022 (Track & Field): Had the team’s top javelin throw of the season with a career best 20.72 meters (68-0) at the Illini Invitational in April.

Prep: Joined the track & field team during the spring season of her senior year for the first time… Ranked within the top three in a number of events and most of the javelin events that she competed in throughout the season… Made the Methacton meet at the end of the season, which featured the top athletes of her division in each event, and placed 13th… Played softball in middle school… Distinguished honors/honor roll from sixth grade through the end of high school.

Personal: Majoring in music education… Daughter of Sheri Smith and Kris Collins… Has a sister, Kara Collins… Involved in Kantorei, a select religious choir of 30 voices on Valpo’s campus, which sings a diverse repertoire of sacred music from chant to folk, multicultural, and vernacular idioms… Part of Christ College, Valpo’s Honors College… Hobbies/interests include singing, playing guitar, playing bass guitar, writing, watching anime and watching horror movies.
