On behalf of the Valparaiso University Athletics Department, thank you to the residents of Valparaiso, and all of Porter, Lake, and LaPorte Counties for the generous support and goodwill given to our student-athletes. 

In the past year we have earned Horizon League championships in women’s soccer and men’s basketball. Both titles were won in tournaments contested right here in Valparaiso. Our student-athletes were greatly encouraged by the significant number of local fans who attended the events and cheered them to victory. During several live ESPN broadcasts we showed multiple national television audiences the quality and passion of basketball fans in Northwest Indiana.  We are also excited to bring the Horizon League baseball championship to Oil City Stadium in Whiting from May 20-23.  

To our fans, ticket holders, Crusader Fund supporters, corporate partners, and all of the members of the Northwest Indiana community we say thank you!  We are proud to be the only NCAA Division I school in Northwest Indiana, Northwest Indiana’s Home Team, and we take great pride in representing The Region in competitions across the nation. Your partnership is vital to all that we do. We look forward to seeing all of you again in the coming year.
